Let me start off with the nitty gritty of who I am, that way you can leave my site never to return as a result if you find yourself not able to trust anything I say.
I didn't end up at this point as a result of some scholarly education. Nor am I some kind of childhood prodigy that was able to figure out the physics of subatomic particles and write three full length symphonies by the age of nine. No, everything I have learned has been the result of research, reading, and listening I have done since May of 2008.
Ever since I returned from a ten day missionary trip to the Middle East I came to the realization that an ever growing majority of professing Christians do not know even the basic methods of how to defend the faith that they claim will save them from the damnation of Hell. They figured out early on that the answer to 98% of the questions you will ever get asked in church is a combination of the words 'God' and 'Jesus.' If you don't believe me, go on YouTube or any public forum where spirituality gets brought up regularly and watch how easy we as Christians end up with our foot in our mouth and a middle finger in our face.
To be quite honest, this was heart breaking for me to see. At the time I had been a professing Christian for about ten years and I couldn't even begin to describe to you what the Hypostatic Union is, because I had never even heard the term. I didn't know what subjective, objective or logical fallacy meant. Let me be completely open and say that when I would read atheism's best argument against God's existence, I was somewhat troubled by it. Now you're probably wondering what their best argument is. While in reality it is not more of an argument than it is a complaint against the character of God, it usually goes something like, "Christianity is just stupid! Who could believe such a thing?"
Let me just say that this argument now makes me feel a little bad for the poor education on reasoning the individual received; probably in our ever outstanding public educational system.
What I want this site to be is a resource for the searching and for the found. I want it to be a tool in exposing the numerous cults in existence today as well as displaying the evidence for Christianity, the dependability of the Bible, and reality of God. So sit back, grab yourself a coffee, put on some music... and enjoy.
